So, what is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a new technology that allows teeth to be comfortably straightened without the use of wire braces. It uses a series of see-through, removable, and comfortable aligners that are almost invisible to the untrained eye. This service has become very popular in our practice due to how comfortable and effective the treatment is.

So, how does it work?

Invisalign works through a series of removable clear plastic aligners that move teeth in small increments, straightening them to their final position. Each set of aligners is worn continuously for approximately 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Progressively you will change to the next set of Invisalign braces in the sequence, straightening your teeth little by little. The number of aligners required for treatment depends on how far the teeth need to be moved.
