Coronavirus: watch for symptoms
At this point, it is important to pay attention to signs and symptoms. If you are experiencing a fever, a dry cough, breathing difficulties, and/or general flu like symptoms please seek medical advice immediately. As dentists, and members of the health care community, it is imperative that we play our part in strongly promoting the recommendations given by our Ontario regulatory board and Public Health. Self-isolation and social distancing are crucial in protecting the health and safety of our loved ones, family, friends and the community at large.

Importance of a well-maintained smile
Dr. Bahram Mostaghaci has been in the dental field for almost twenty years. For him, taking care of people’s smiles is fundamental to his career philosophy. Having completed all his post-secondary studies in Ontario, it was a dream come true to return to Ottawa to set up his practice. He has proudly been a dentist in the West Ottawa region his entire career
The Marchwood Dental clinic is a reference point in the community for implants, crowns, whitening, Invisalign (an incredible alternative to braces) and many other services. The dentists at this office are well known for offering their patients the best when it comes to quality dental treatment and service in Kanata and the West Ottawa region. For the partner and founder of the practice, Dr. William Henry, the growth of the clinic is fundamental: “Our aim is to be closer and closer to our patients. We are a dental office with over 30 years of presence in the community, and we have become increasingly engaged in transforming smiles and servicing our patients, their families and friends”, he highlights.
Easy access at Dental Office Kanata – Marchwood
The clinic is located in an easily accessible region of West Ottawa, at the corner or March Road and Halton Terrace. Close to shopping markets, grocery stores, restaurants and major bus terminals, the office offers a vast parking area with easy access to the heart of Kanata’s high-tech sector in Silicon Valley North!
Procedures
A beautiful and aligned smile is the dream of many people, right? Therefore, it is important to seek a dental clinic that takes this fundamental care seriously. Dr. Bahram Mostaghaci has 15 years of experience when it comes to the use of invisible retainers in orthodontics… most recognizably Invisalign. That is, he knows perfectly how to make you smile the way you always wanted!
The advantage of using such methods goes far beyond the issue of aesthetics. Incorrect teeth alignment can cause several long-term problems. In addition to masticatory difficulties, the misalignment and crowding of teeth can cause bone loss, fracturing of neighbouring teeth, headaches and jaw pain. Therefore, it is always important to have preventive consultations with your dentist, preferably at least every six months.
What do I need to know before going ahead with dental implants?
Marchwood dentist office offers several treatments in the realm of implants and tooth replacement. Designing and fabricating natural-looking and comfortable implant crowns is a Marchwood speciality! Dental implants can allow a person to eat more effectively and to smile more confidently than with any other alternative.
Have you had your dental cleaning?
Did you know that even if your oral hygiene habits are up to date, it is essential to perform routine Dental Cleanings? Daily brushing and flossing help to eliminate most of the bacteria built up around the teeth and gums, as well as to prevent the accumulation of food in these areas. However, regular prophylaxis by your dental hygienist makes the biggest difference in the fight against issues such as cavities, gingivitis, and tartar build-up. Between your dentist, hygienist and the rest of the dental professionals in our team, the overall health of your mouth can be maintained in a positive way.
